This role will require you to be responsible for handling warranty claims from PAC, however the overall project responsibility remains with the Project Manager until formal handover to Project Warranty at Project Closure or under prior agreement for close out of work packages.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has Project Engineering/Contract Management experience gained within the Transmission & Distribution Industry. You will have a great understanding of Transmission & Distribution standards & technologies together with knowledge of Substation Primary & Secondary Systems. A good knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations as well as Risk Management processes.

Of course, fantastic communication & interpersonal skills are required along with a strong work ethic, able to work of own initiative and ability to be proactive.

Your responsibilities

Your role will require you to be responsible for handling warranty claims from PAC, however the overall project responsibility remains with the Project Manager until formal handover to Project Warranty at Project Closure or under prior agreement for close out of work packages.

The responsibility ends at Final customer acceptance. Areas of importance are but are not limited to:

  • Secure complete and efficient handover from Project Manager.
  • Ensure clear and close communication with the Customer.
  • Develop and communicate the Warranty claim log.
  • Plan and lead internal project meetings.
  • Lead contract and warranty claim related activities.
  • Ensure highest focus on financial matters such as forecasting and cost controlling.
  • Secure clear and efficient handover to Service.
  • Report to relevant management team.

Commercially and technically, you are required to raise all potential risks and any opportunities and report to the Management Team. You will also be responsible for preparing Monthly Progress Reports on the assigned work packages for internal and external reporting.

You will be required to be customer facing on discussions, technical queries, issues, and management for the work packages assigned to you.
