A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Technical Trainer with Siemens Energy in Austria, you will play a crucial role in crafting the skills and knowledge of engineers and technicians worldwide. Your day will involve conducting interactive training sessions and applying advanced digital tools for remote learning. You will convert complex technical content into engaging, practical lessons, ensuring our clients can flawlessly implement and maintain our world-class technologies. Additionally, your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing training projects, organising factory tours, and constantly updating the curriculum to reflect the latest industry advancements.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead specialist training courses in English, independently and exceptionally.
  • Provide remote training and service support using brand new digital tools.
  • Host insightful factory tours to showcase our advanced facilities.
  • Handle ongoing and new training projects, including scheduling, hospitality, and certification processes.
  • Continuously adapt teaching content to align with the latest technical developments.
  • Maintain and procure vital training items and tools.


What You Bring

  • Completed technical training in mechanical or electrical engineering, with previous experience as a technical trainer being a plus.
  • Proven ability to switch careers – ideal for vocational school teachers, trainers, or technicians.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a confident presence in front of groups.
  • A proactive and independent work ethic.
  • The capacity to convey complex technical content clearly to small groups (2-8 participants) and guide them through practical exercises.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German or additional languages is an advantage.

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of € 51.314,34 gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
