A Snapshot of Your Day

You will lead and manage the substation design scope for onshore substations in Denmark.

That means you can be involved from the bidding process, all the way through the project execution until the warranty is concluded and the project is handed over on to service.

You will be the substation design coordination resource for sales opportunities and the substation design coordinator for project execution. Therefore, you can simultaneously work in sales opportunities and projects. Besides the sales and project teams, you will have a close collaboration with our sales department, procurement function as well as our international business unit.

How You’ll Make an Impact

In this position, you will take ownership of the substation design scope for onshore projects, engaging in every aspect of the project lifecycle. Your role will be central to coordinating design elements, including single line diagrams, substation layouts, and electro-technical drawings, while also managing technical procurement. 

Will collaborate closely with civil partners to integrate design inputs and provide strategic recommendations for the installation and commissioning phases. Your insights will be invaluable to the Procurement team as you assist with supplier selection and onboarding. Working proactively with project managers and specialists, you will address project needs and ensure the quality of supplier work.

What You Bring

  • A degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering with proven experience in substation design and engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of substation subsystems, including switchgears, cable systems, auxiliary systems, and civil works.
  • Broad knowledge within subsystems included in the substation such as Air Insulated Switchgear, Gas Insulated Switchgear, Oil filled components, HV and MV cable systems and their terminations, Auxiliary systems, civil works as well as basic understanding of cyber security in projects.
  • Proficiency in cyber security principles within project contexts.
  • Strong project management skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability in supplier management.
