How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design and implement secure and reliable substation automation systems (SAS).
  • Develop and maintain SAS architectures (hardware and software) with a focus on robust cybersecurity measures.
  • Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning, including interface with network and cybersecurity teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Protection engineers, SCADA engineers, IT professionals, and cybersecurity experts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 61850, IEEE, NERC CIP).
  • Provide technical support and training on SAS and cybersecurity best practices while staying updated on advancements in the field.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in substation automation systems.
  • Proficient in communication protocols such as IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, and IEC 60870-5-101/104, with a strong understanding of protection and control systems in substations.
  • Experience with SAS hardware and software from leading vendors (e.g., Siemens, ABB, GE, SEL) and knowledge of SCADA systems and HMI design.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in substation automation and experience in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting in industrial environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with project management experience and the ability to lead technical teams.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, with advanced certifications in substation automation, cybersecurity, or related fields, and experience in renewable energy integration and smart grid technologies.


About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization! Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
