Siemens Energy AGT is hiring a Service Engineer in Technical Services. The role reports to the SGT-A35 Service Engineering Manager and is based in Warwick. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers across the AGT organisation.
We have successfully grown our aero-derivative turbine business to a £1 billion per annum global business. Our focus is on supplying and supporting aero-derivative gas turbine packages and equipment to the global oil & gas and power generation markets. With over 4,000 gas turbines supplied to customers in over 80 countries, we have accumulated over 200 million hours of operating experience. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Take ownership and deliver Power Turbines technical solutions for both short-term and longer-term operational issues, working with a variety of teams across the business.
  • Utilise Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques for speedy issue resolution with a strong customer focus.
  • Develop and own component cost models to ensure competitive pricing and efficient operations.
  • Author relevant Service Documentation such as Service Bulletins, Service Technical Instructions, and Troubleshooting Guides.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide updates on technical issues being addressed.
  • Occasionally travel to other Siemens and customer sites worldwide to successfully implement solutions.

What Do you Bring
  • A degree or equivalent experience in the field of engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of relevant product hardware, operation, and overhaul.
  • Experience in the application of Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills to effectively convey technical information.
  • Experience working with diverse teams, showcasing our dedication to inclusion and collaboration.
  • High level of customer understanding and customer focus to determine and meet client needs.
