A Snapshot of Your Day:

In our multicultural HVDC control team you will design, implement, and verify control systems for HVDC substations, in cooperation with project management, system- and equipment designers as well as with our customers.


How you will make an Impact:

  • Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC)
  • Preparation of design specifications, documentation and effort estimations
  • Clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
  • Implementation of control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments
  • Remote support during commissioning and service of HVDC systems


What you Bring:

  • University degree in electrical engineering with focus on energy and control technology and profound professional experience
  • Good knowledge in converter- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed loop controls
  • Good MATLAB/ SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
  • Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
  • Very good English language skills, German language skills are of advantage
