A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a Project Manager who fits into the team within the Expert Center High Voltage in Amersfoort. The Expert Center High Voltage is responsible for maintaining the energy networks at home and abroad. In addition, the business unit is responsible for all 'High Voltage' activities of Siemens Energy in the Netherlands.

The High Voltage Expert Center is part of the Grid Technologies Business Area, one of the world's largest suppliers of products, systems, solutions and services for balanced, reliable and efficient transmission and distribution of energy. Innovative solutions are also being developed here to absorb

Fluctuations in supply and demand in a more inquisitive way and thus keep the energy network reliable and available.

The intended project manager will work within the portfolio of high-voltage products. With a particular focus on High Voltage switching systems, Transformers and the related Service activities.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Realizing projects together with your project team;
  • To be the Single Point of Contact for the customer;
  • Handle projects according to the company's guidelines including the achievement of the project
  • Objectives and customer satisfaction together with supervising the project KPI's;
  • Coordination between the internal organization and the customer regarding the installation and
  • Commissioning activities and the implementation of the correct local EHS guidelines;
  • Maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Continuous development towards deeper technical knowledge in the assigned portfolio and
  • Extending project management expertise to more complex projects.

What You Bring

  • Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical engineering, energy engineering or mechanical engineering at University of Applied Sciences level;
  • Experience in the electricity or transmission sector is a plus;
  • You like to work independently, but you are also a real team player;
  • You can work on a project basis, have good communication skills and have an eye for detail;
  • You speak and write in fluent English;
  • You are initiative-taking and eager to learn.
