This role is a 24 month fixed term contract

As a Print Process Technician at Materials Solutions, you'll be at the forefront of our additive manufacturing operations. Working in Worcester, your role will be critical in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You'll collaborate closely with technical and engineering teams, helping to develop new products and refine existing processes. Your day will involve preparing laser powder bed fusion machines, supporting AM technicians, and maintaining the high standards of health and safety we uphold. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to continuous improvement will be key to your success in this role.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

-  Follow defined techniques, SOPs, work instructions, and processes to ensure quality standards are achieved.

-  Collaborate with technical and engineering personnel on new product development and processes.

-  Uphold adherence to health and safety requirements.

-  Contribute to problem-solving and report any deviations found in the process.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

-  Prepare laser powder bed fusion machines for production as per the weekly schedule.

-  Provide production support to AM technicians, ensuring consistent workflow and product quality.

-  Maintain best working practices outlined in SOPs and adhere to site health and safety regulations.

-  Perform 5S and total preventative maintenance of equipment.


WHAT YOU BRING:

-  Desired:

-  Working knowledge of EOS Renishaw and SLM AM machines.

-  Experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance (e.g., gravity-fed systems and blenders).

-  A good understanding of 3D printing technologies.
