A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Sales for South East Asian region to drive our Distributed service sales portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, enhancing market penetration, and ensuring that Service revenue and growth targets are met across the South East Asian markets for Industrial Gas turbines and Compressors. This role is pivotal in strengthening our presence and growing our customer base in a competitive and constantly evolving industry. You will manage a team of Client Managers and Sales support personnel across the South East Asian region to ensure they identify the client project evaluators, influencers and decision-makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of acquisition cycle.

How You’ll Make an Impact

·       Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the South East Asian market.

·       Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

·       Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

·       Negotiate and close agreements with large customers and manage complex contracts.

·       Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, using market research, competitive analysis, and sales data.

·       Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

·       Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, Execution and Customer Support teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.

·       Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to maintain a high profile and professional network in the energy sector.

What You Bring

·       Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.

·       At least 10 years of sales experience in the energy sector, with a proven track record in sales leadership roles, preferably related to gas turbines or similar rotating equipment technologies.

·       Strong understanding of the South East Asian energy market, regulatory environment, and cultural nuances.

·       Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the Organization, including executive and C-level.

·       Experience in negotiating large contracts and managing sales cycles from plan to close.

·       Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.

·       Strong business sense and industry expertise.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional South East Asian languages is a plus.

·       Willingness to travel frequently across the region.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
