A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Commercial Officer at Siemens Energy, you'll start your day by reviewing the financial performance of our cultural minority Joint-venture with a Chinese Power Equipment supplier. You will analyze key performance indicators, prepare reports, and provide strategic financial advice to our CFO. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial resources are managed flawlessly and align with all relevant regulations. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support and advise the Siemens Energy CFO on all financial matters related to the JV
- Review and analyze the overall and individual performance of the three JV sites based on the agreed monthly financial reporting package
- Maintain and improve sets of critical metrics for monthly performance reporting to the Siemens JV BoD members
- Analyze and challenge the JV’s Planning and Forecasting to prepare Siemens JV BoD members for meetings
- Collect, compile, and analyze financial information to prepare regional consolidation financial reports
- Support central financial projects and cooperate with business functions to complete regulatory reports and filings
What You Bring
- Over 4 years of experience in financial statement reporting within a sizable foreign manufacturing company
- Proficiency in crafting reporting methods and processes for financial statements, with robust knowledge and ability to manage functional flows
- 2-3 years of experience in joint ventures or related companies
- Experience in controlling firms is preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus
- Understanding of PRC GAAP, US GAAP, and the differences between them
- Good command of English; knowledge of German is a plus
