About the role
- Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts, in cooperation with colleagues from the sub regions in Europe and in alignment with the regional Finance Head.
- Prepare internal reports to regional management, comment on the development of key figures, as well as analyze the influencing factors and effects of deviations from the plan or forecast.
- Do the cost center controlling through plan/actual deviations analysis, forecasting and consultation and alignment with the cost center managers.
- Perform sensitivity analysis of the regional Business forecast as decision basis for the Head of Finance, especially with the aim of increasing Forecast quality.
- Proactively support and/ or carry out the introduction and optimization of new methods and procedures in reporting and performance controlling with the help of digitization initiatives.
- Perform financial analysis on performance of the regional Business.
- Develop and implement processes to improve the quality of the financial operations.
- Collect and prepare data to analyze the regional financial value flows.
What You Bring
- University degree in the field of Finance, Accounting or comparable.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Finance or Controlling.
- Good knowledge of Excel, SAP, Tableau or similar tools.
- Ideally, experience in the digitization of controlling processes and initial experience in the use of digitization tools (e.g.: Alteryx).
- Business fluent in English.
- Experience in closing and forecasting activities.
- Profound understanding of financial processes and related systems.
- High analytic skills in financial KPIs.
- A networker who can score points with strong communication skills and good time management.
- Pronounced ability to work in a team and the joy of being able to make a difference together.
