We are seeking to combine the strengths of a Bid Manager with the strengths of a Project Manager in one position. Do you have a strong technical background in Control and Protection Systems in High Voltage Substations? This role is part of the Grid Automation team, which provides solutions for Control and Protection Systems for High Voltage Substations to the customer. Your task covers the preparation and presentation of technical and commercial bids as well as having the full responsibility of a Project Manager to deliver automation and protection projects within the project targets to the satisfaction of internal and external customers. Together with a network of technical experts, you implement state-of-the art technologies in the projects. Beyond this, you drive the future of digital substations.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Build proposals for EPC’s and end customer within field of Protection and Control system in HV and MV substations including hardware and software scope of supply.
• Analyze customer technical specifications independently to better understand aspects of the product and solutions.
• Ensure preparation and presentation of the proposals in high quality and in timeline with the customer requirements.
• Full responsibility for the management of projects within the area of protection, control, and cybersecurity in HV projects
• Assurance of the project delivery within timeline, budget, and high quality
• Interface management to subcontractors
• Risk-, Opportunity- and Claim Management
• Close cooperation and coordination with technical experts
• Regular project reporting to the management

What You Bring

• Completed university degree in electrical engineering, automation or similar
• 12 or more years of experience in the Energy transmission sector *Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level and vice versa
• Strong technical background in protection, control and substation automation in HV substations
• 5 or more years of Project management experience, preferable with certification according to IPMA, PM@Siemens or similar
• 5 or more years of experience in Bid Management and offer preparation
• Ability to influence and build strong customer relationships
• Willing and able to travel, as needed, domestically and occasionally internationally; Estimated 40% travel for meeting purposes with customers, events, fairs
• Must be fluent in Spanish and English languages
• RESUME MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH FOR CONSIDERATION.
