A Snapshot of Your Day
You are a part of a global inspection team within strategic procurement. You start your day by reviewing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Dimensional (DIM) inspection requests from internal partners. You conduct virtual meetings with internal partners to synchronize with your team of NDT and DIM specialists. Discuss ongoing inspection requests, ensure that all team members are updated on the latest developments. Review inspection plans and coordinate the deployment of inspectors to ensure that inspections are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. Collaborate with colleagues from various departments and time zones to coordinate inspections progress and ensure the smooth execution of inspections.
As a 3rd Party Manager, your responsibilities include preparing contracts, verifying invoices, tracking purchase order values, and maintaining an overall overview. You may need to request additional resources or engage new third parties. Be responsible for planning training sessions for new inspectors.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a global team of inspectors to ensure everyone aligned
- Third-Party Coordination: Manage and involve third-party vendors to meet various needs.
- Problem Solving: Solve issues and conflicts that come up during planning.
- Customer Requirements: Understand what our internal customers need in different product areas related to quality management (VT, MT, UT, RT, dimensional).
- Skill Matching: Find and involve the right people with the right skills for specific tasks.
- Information Sharing: Give inspectors all the necessary details and information they need for their tasks.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep the internal tools updated and working well.
What you Bring
- Educational and Professional Background: A completed degree in mechanical engineering, CWI, or a related field, or equivalent experience in quality management, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Organizational and Technical Skills: Excellent organizational and planning abilities, proficient in using MS Office applications and SAP.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong skills in working with others and communicating optimally, with the ability to conduct and moderate meetings. Proficient in English, with German language skills being a plus.
- International and Independent Work: Experience in an international work environment is preferred. Able to work independently, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Teamwork and Initiative: Works well in a team, pays attention to detail, and shows high initiative. Actively engages with people and builds a cross-functional network.
- Professional and Collaborative Approach: Consistent and confident in interactions, works constructively with all levels of the organization, and engages in intensive interaction and communication.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Thinks analytically and focuses on finding solutions.
