A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Sales Manager, your day will revolve around generating and driving key decarbonization and chemical projects across Europe, with a particular focus on engineered compression solutions. You will take charge of projects during the critical sales phase, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including operators, EPCs, and engineering firms. From identifying promising opportunities to closing contracts, you will manage relationships and resources to improve outcomes. Your role will include balancing risk, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and optimizing project returns for SE/Compression. Each day presents new challenges as you work to secure transformative deals in the gas, energy, steel, and (petro)chemical industries.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Ensuring profitable and sustainable order entry aligned with the Business Unit Compression strategy for balanced growth
  • Providing responsive and proactive support to customers throughout the entire sales process, from early stages to closing
  • Taking a precise, systematic, and diligent approach to generating proposals that meet customer requirements
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to achieving set goals and objectives

What You Bring
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, preferably in rotating equipment, with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience
  • Strong background in process engineering, ideally with knowledge of compression technology (turbo & reciprocating)
  • Experience in sales of equipment, services, and/or plants to end users and EPCs
  • Proven customer-facing skills, including technical, commercial, and legal expertise, with a focus on international relationship building
  • In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics
  • Commitment, resilience, and a collaborative team player within SE
  • Dynamic, self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to generating new leads and cross functional management of capture teams
  • Business fluent in Englisch and German, other languages welcome
