How You’ll Make an Impact?

Supplier Qualification – support on-boarding of new suppliers by performing supplier capability analysis and assessment of supplier risk
Lead Product and Process Qualification of suppliers providing core components for SE Transformation of Industry Business Area (Compressor, Industrial Steam Turbine & Generators, Sustainably Energy Systems, Electrification Automation & Digitalization).  Main commodities – Machining of Castings, Forgings & other raw materials.  
Supplier Development – initiate and implement supplier quality improvement measures
Plan & Implement Supplier Quality Assurance measures during entire supplier lifecycle (qualification + ongoing business) to ensure Supply Chain Resiliency
Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures at supplier for quality issues
Utilize Risk Management Methodologies to avoid quality issues at supply base
Support product development of new/revised components to ensure manufacture-ability & source-ability and provide technical evaluation of design changes as input to cost impact analysis
Highlight opportunities for Innovation & Improvement – externally at supplier via technical developments / best practices / industry standards and internally via process improvements / optimization / digitalization
Active member supporting Procurement and Business initiatives - Localization, Local 4 Global, Sourcing Strategy Development and Sustainability

What You Bring?

Experience as design engineer, quality engineer or manufacturing engineer required.  
Practical manufacturing experience with machining of castings & forgings.  
Know-how of Casting & Forging process and/or Materials Engineering is a plus.
Working experience in technical functions in the Energy, Oil & Gas or related industry - preferred.
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in engineering related major.
Initiative, results oriented and strong analytical thinking. Experience working in a global environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Team management experience is required
Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies
Willingness to travel ~30%.
Project Management Experience preferred
