A Snapshot of Your Day

At our advanced Blades and Vanes facility in Gibsonton, Florida, your day centers on precision and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment dedicated to producing high-quality turbine components. Your responsibilities will include optimizing production schedules, enhancing quality systems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives, all of which contribute to the reliability and sustainability of global energy systems. Expect a fast-paced, safety-first culture where innovation, teamwork, and accountability are paramount.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop quality plans for new parts, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain process integrity by interpreting quality procedures and technical documentation.
  • Identify and eliminate manufacturing flow obstacles to foster continuous improvement.
  • Lead quality systems activities, including audits and corrective actions, utilizing tools such as 5-Why and Fishbone.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events for process enhancements.
  • Conduct internal and supplier ISO audits.
  • Promote safety and accountability, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Manage staffing, training, and attendance for a team of quality technicians responsible for final quality verification of products for on-time shipments.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or investment casting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in team building and conflict resolution.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 standards; Auditor Certification and familiarity with ISO14001 or ISO45001 are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
  • The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
