A Snapshot of Your Day

The Catalog team provides Illustrated Parts Catalogs and Spare Parts Packages that support multiple business processes such as outage planning, quotes and orders, and parts forecasting activities through accurate spare parts identification. Collaborate with departments to provide mentorship in collecting engineering, service, and commercial insights, optimizing spare parts packages, updating package data, and creating Illustrated Parts Catalogs. The catalogs are created from unit specific configuration data, including the defined spares packages, and illustrations created in collaboration with drafting team members. The successful candidate will maintain spares recommendations for steam turbines, complete catalogs in line with department targets, and collaborate with global team members to improve data accuracy and optimize processes.

How You will Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with New Unit Engineering, Service Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Order Management to identify the optimal spare parts for Steam Turbine service events
  • Maintain standard spares lists and apply spare parts codes to unit configuration data
  • Create Illustrated Spare Parts catalogs to support parts identification and outage planning
  • Support Technical Clarification with parts identification
  • Coordinate with a distributed team for process alignment and optimization

What You Bring

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a technical field with strong knowledge of technical data sources including; configuration records, material masters, bills of material, drawings, and product modifications
  • Steam turbine product knowledge
  • You are interested in data structures as well as analyzing & solving complex data challenges
  • Excellent collaboration skills to thrive in a multicultural team environment while also able to work independently
  • Continuous improvement mentality
  • Proficiency in IT tools like SAP, PCM, and MS Office 365
