In the role as Bid Manager you will oversee activities related to bid proposals for appointed projects, ensuring clear communication with clients in coordination with the respective Sales Manager. There will be responsibilities for engaging in developing the negotiation strategy and leading or participating in contract negotiations, securing contract approval, finalizing the negotiation phase, and analyzing as well as documenting the reasons for the success or failure of the bids.

Additionally, you will prepare bid documentation, approval documents, carry out risk assessments, and perform bid calculations to ensure a comprehensive and well-informed approach to each project.

Other duties and responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive Bid Project organization, ensuring the necessary resources are allocated, conducting bid kick-off meeting, and aligning the bid plan with the bid team's activities.
• Prepare the final bid documents, establish a change order strategy, execute, and document the bid approval decision.
• Facilitate the handover of the bid, presenting the bid in conjunction with the Key Account Manager and addressing customer feedback.

What you bring

• A relevant degree in engineering, digitalization, or a related field.
• Experience in managing bids for projects, with a background in project management, technical sales, or project deliveries, especially within the Energy industry is an advantage.
• A results-driven mindset with a good grasp of business operations.
• Relationship-building skills, fostering both internal and client relationships with a positive and initiative-taking attitude.

We are looking for someone that is structured and analytical approach to work, with the ability to quickly learn and implement specific knowledge and processes. You work independently while being an effective team player, with the capability to lead and collaborate on projects. Having strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, in Norwegian/Nordic and English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly is very important.
