The Role
You will build an environment that inspires and enables employees to grow and will evolve employee experience across Siemens Energy globally.
Reporting into the Global Head of Talent Management together with your direct team of 6 and the broader Talent Management team you will design and build new products, solutions, and processes around the topics of performance management, succession and using data to match HR products to meet employee needs.
Importantly, collaborating with all of Talent Management to use the strengths of our organisation and change and adapt to becoming an integrated energy technology company. Your remit is to be a designer of solutions and change in your area and working across Talent Management in L&D, Consulting and Talent Acquisition to drive companywide change.
Directly within your reporting line are the core HR topics related to Performance where we have introduced a new innovative performance approach. This focuses on improving the quality of people management & evolving our succession approach to scale for the entire company.
Your knowledge to these rich data sources will allow you to work with your peers as we develop world leading approaches to giving managers and employees feedback and to further strengthen our people management. Also, your team is taking the lead at exploring how we can better link and present the tools we have in Talent Management at the different points in the employee lifecycle.

Your profile
International leadership experience in Talent Management. Having run or implemented performance and succession as part of a Global HR COE or Talent Management Team
A demonstrable track record in Talent Management related functions developing and rolling out new HR products.
A consultant style approach with a solution oriented mindset who loves to build pragmatic solutions to impact sophisticated problems.
Passionate people manager who truly cares about nurturing talent.
Expert in coordinating global projects and driving global initiative and have a demonstrable track record in concept designing and implementation on a global scale with Driven cross-divisional / regional/ corporate function collaboration
Excellent ‘C-level’ presentation and organizational skills, enabling you to influence and communicate effectively.
Being a truly global organization, you will need to have deep interpersonal and intercultural sensitivity.
A successfully completed university degree (Master) in Organisational Psychology or related Talent Management field
Ability to travel globally as and when required.
Your responsibilities
Your function “Performance and Succession” looks at our people related challenges holistically and bringing in people science and new practices. Dealing at the strategic level of what is the causation and how can we effect it, you and your team will work in partnership with our business, your HR and Talent Management peers to implement and coordinate solutions. You will have a direct impact on the succession planning process of our senior leaders and performance management approach for all our employees and ultimately our business success.
Your organisational change and products design approach will enable human energy by using our science-based approaches to performance and human motivation at work
Enhance our recently rolled out a global performance approach that focus on freedom and responsibility, flexibility, and growth. Be the strategic owner of performance management and how we can use this to enable how we work with our people
Drive the change that increases the quality of people management through our performance approach and not just rollout a system.
Capture feedback to further adapt our performance approach to the requirements of the business. Work with our HR partners to adapt the change management driving adoption.
Run our annual succession process for our executive board members and our leadership
Refine our approach to better prepare our diverse pipelines for succession in our senior roles
Design and deploy a new scalable approach to succession that encourages all managers in the company to develop successors
Rollout talent pools tool to broaden succession usage
Working with our HR partners to design core development journeys to accelerate our people
Develop a new product connecting our many talent management tools and services to our employees based on their lifecycle in the company
