Join our team at SE New Energy Business now as Bachelorand/Masterand (f/m/d) for the development of new methods in the field of digitalization in Erlangen.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • The core of the research is the development of a multidisciplinary data management for different systems consisting of mechanical, electrical and software based elements within a publicly funded innovationproject
  • Conceptual design of methods for the realization of a digital twin of all delivered and installed units parallel to the erection process on site
  • Analysis of the available possibilities in the field of erection and optimized as-built acquisition for electrolysis plants
  • Elaboration of a classification of different scenarios of data backfeed and possible solutions
  • Application-based validation of the results based on case analyses
  • Collaboration with research partners from industry and academia
What You Bring
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, or similar
  • Knowledge and interest in the field of construction and plant engineering
  • First experience with 3D CAD systems as well as with data management systems such as Teamcenter
  • Basic knowledge in plant engineering, electrical engineering etc. is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming advantageous
  • Ability to solve technical challenges, result orientation, communication as well as teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a team with strong customer focus
  • International communication experience desirable
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German an advantage
