Your profile

Your principal role will be to support the planning and development, and implements defined test processes, methods, and applications..

Key skills for the role include:

  • Takes part in business improvement activities, as assigned.
  • Contribute to the deployment of strategic tasks and projects, as assigned.
  • Adhere to relevant processes.
  • Identify process errors and process improvement opportunities to management.
  • Identify potential quality issues or improvements to management.
  • Adhere to safety processes and guidance at all times. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in regard to safety.
  • To perform routine and qualification tests on new products
  • To build qualification test samples following procedures and drawings
  • To trial and evaluate and report on new techniques, services and applications.
  • To share knowledge gained on new technology and techniques for productionisation of processes developed by the Test Dept.
  • The role may from time to time may involve travel on –site including offshore and abroad in support of the above
  • Pro-active involvement in maintaining and developing best working practices.

Your responsibilities

  • Prepares all relevant parts and sequence of test programs, according to the defined test plans. 
  • Completes testing sequences, documents according to defined rules and carries out diagnostic measures in the event of deviations and assess the results 
  • Supports analyses of test sequences for potential improvements. 
  • Carries out or initiates the required implementation measures. 
  • Supports in the systematic further development of the quality assurance system. 
  • Maintains the testing manual.
  • To interpret specifications and drawings accurately and apply the requirements to test scenarios.
  • Able to provide feedback on modifications to test procedures/work instructions.
  • Ability to interpret test data and predict problems or failures and also to take corrective actions in the event of test equipment failure.
  • Ability to work safely using specialist equipment, eg high voltage / high pressure.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports.
