Join our Grid Technologies team and provide deep technical knowledge in Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios and advise both our sales organization and customers in capabilities and options on how to use and integrate our products and solutions effectively.

The main products and service portfolios include but not limited to; HVDC including offshore Access, FACTS including SVCs, STATCOMs, Synchronous Condensers, Power Flow Controllers and Support Services (LTSA’s, conditions monitoring etc)


Your Profile

  • Deep technical knowledge of Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios and ability to develop the market knowledge.
  • Sales and portfolio experience in an allied industry for at least 5 years.
  • Successful account and portfolio experience with growth results.
  • Engineering Degree/Diploma / Electrical trade background highly regarded.
  • Project management & design/commissioning experience and/or qualifications also highly regarded.
  • Full working rights in Australia and ability to travel.

What part will you play?

  • Supports the respective sales team in approaching and serving potential customers best and advisers both sales team and customers in capabilities and options on how to use and integrate Siemens Energy products & solutions effectively.
  • Serves sales team and customers as an expert in product application and commissioning with respect to the portfolio.
  • Constantly analyses Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios and understands the market position of the portfolio.
  • Liaison and engagement with relevant stakeholders in Headquarters (HQ) to promote the Siemens Energy’s interests but also promoting Siemens Energy Australia’s business opportunities within HQ
