A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist at Siemens Energy, your day will revolve around ensuring goods and services are delivered on time, every time. You’ll work directly with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules, solve issues quickly, and support performance improvement. Collaborating across Procurement, Engineering, and Quality, you’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain efficient and reliable. You’ll also use project management tools to track progress, identify risks, and manage delivery priorities for critical orders.


How You'll Make an Impact
  •  Manage supplier delivery schedules and proactively monitor risks to ensure goods and services are delivered on time. 
  •  Build strong supplier relationships to encourage accountability and transparency on delivery performance. 
  •  Communicate assertively with suppliers to address delivery delays and hold them to their commitments. 
  •  Use tools such as Gantt charts, manufacturing plans, and critical path analysis to identify and implement delivery improvement strategies. 
  •  Expedite urgent orders and manage parallel and sequential delivery activities effectively. 
  •  Measure vendor performance using KPIs and implement improvement plans as needed.
  •  Work with internal stakeholders across Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Commodity Management to remove bottlenecks and ensure timely resolutions. 
  •  Lead root cause investigations on delivery failures and support the development of contingency plans. 


What You Bring

  •  Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or manufacturing (ideally with aerospace or gas turbine components). 
  •  Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, continuous improvement attitude. 
  •  Critical thinking under pressure with a structured, solution-driven approach. 
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  •  Proficiency with project management tools and planning techniques. 
  •  Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence both suppliers and internal partners.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
