Siemens Energy Graduate Program - Sales Manager HVDC (f/m/d)

What You Can Expect

Over the course of two years, you’ll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams, and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand.

From day one, you will work on challenging projects with three individually-designed assignments, including one eight-month assignment abroad (Covid permitting). 

You will be assigned a mentor and will shadow a role or position to support you in reaching your individual career goals and network with peers and business leaders. You’ll also have access to the resources to help you grow.

  • In your role you are responsible for the sale of turnkey HVDC systems, i.e starting with the premliminary acquisition, preperation of the offer up to and including the negotiation of the order.
  • You identify, evaluate and independently drive sales opportunities together with the regional companies.
  • You build sustainable and value-adding relationships with local customers, partner companies and regional decision-makers.
  • You also ensure that an expected and complete processing of the offer can and ensure a successful LoA process (limits of authority) by technically controlling the offer team (offer strategy, pricing, overall objective).
What You Bring
  • Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment is required. 
  • A master's degree, doctoral degree, preferably electrical or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working is required.
  • Excellent English acumen to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program.
  • Experience or knowledge in international technical sales or the offer process for projects and systems or project management, preferably in the area of HVDC systems or ower transmission systems in general.
  • You have knowledge in the field of power transmission or power distribution or HVDC.
  • As you work in an international environment, you have good knowledge of German and English and have experience in an intercultural environment.
