In the role of Senior Sales Manager, you will plan and execute sales targets and activities for the Transmission Services Business in the Philippines to drive and increase sales with potential customers.

 Your profile

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, and Sales support roles such as key account management, tender management, bid preparation, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of High Voltage transmission industry.
  • Good professional network.
  • Strong competence in using IT tools including Microsoft Office, and Salesforce applications.
  • Proficient use of the English language.
  • Willing to travel within the Philippines and abroad.
  • With driver’s license.
  • And last but not least: open minded to take on challenges and try new methods of working.

 Your responsibilities

  • Perform market analysis and evaluation (industry / customer / competitor) and define initiatives to increase sales volume and expand the customer base.
  • Develop the sales pipeline by defining strategies to retain/grow existing and acquire new accounts to achieve greater market share and growth.
  • Define customers´ strategy and account plans (including stakeholder analysis) related to sales of the entire Siemens Energy transmission service products and portfolios.
  • Be a consultant to the customer in order to develop, influence, and close sales opportunities.
  • Develop Go to Market approaches for different products / market segments / portfolios etc. including active marketing (creating where necessary the material / technical info / business cases).
  • As part of the offer process, reviewing Request for Quotations (RFQ), determine go to market pricing for offered products & solutions, and develop scope that brings the highest OEM value add.
  • Prepares / coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with proposal management/ other involved professionals and management.
  • Work with the bid team to deliver cost estimates, ensure lessons learned are implemented, clear offer documentation and scope is defined, and project scheduling that meets customers’ requirements.
  • Identification and management of potential partners.
  • Identification and development of opportunities with other Siemens Energy business units and entities.
