Your profile
  • Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in the field of business administration, economics or comparable education
  • Many years of relevant experience in controlling / reporting and/or accounting as well as with experience in tax or auditing companies
  • Experience in IFRS consolidation of joint ventures / minority interests and in project and process management for small to mid-sized projects
  • Leadership experience of interdisciplinary project teams and knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.) as well as ERP and financial systems, preferably SAP/Spiridon 
  • Know-how of Siemens Energy internal reporting/financial statement processes and project management, of local accounting and financial statement regulations as well as knowledge of local corporate law desirable
  • You have intercultural experience to cope with an international environment (the contact to the external partners of Siemens Energy is characterized by the special cultural and religious background) as well as business fluent German and English language skills in spoken and written form
  • Personally, you are characterized by initiative, creativity, analytical ability, result orientation, organizational skills and quality orientation, assertiveness, working in a network, ability to work in a team and Siemens values
Your responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the performance and practical implementation of the Corporate Shareholder function towards investee companies, taking into account various local jurisdictions, corporate / tax, in the Middle East & Asia regions. Here additional and specific governance over the relevant processes for listed companies in India and Pakistan
  • Perform regular analysis of key figures to assess the performance of the investments. In case of risks/problems, you will take over the development and implementation of effective countermeasures. This in particular under consideration of the high number of risk countries in the Asia & Pacific region
  • In addition, you will actively participate as a leader of relevant workstreams in carve-out and integration projects, or as a team member and here as a representative of all central finance issues
  • You safeguard the Group's interests towards third party (external) shareholders of the companies. In particular, with regard to the financing structure and profit distribution policy
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring an optimized capital structure of the companies on an ongoing basis, as well as ensuring and implementing a uniform dividend policy, dividend collection
  • You will be responsible for the qualified evaluation/commenting on investment (investment and divestment) projects, as well as supporting members of the Managing Board of Siemens Energy and the finance management level in the performance of supervisory mandates at intra-group companies
  • Furthermore, your field of activity includes consulting, initiation as well as participation and implementation in corporate law set-ups/optimizations
  • You will actively shape the digital transformations of the shareholder function within Siemens Energy and, if necessary, assume supervisory mandates in the relevant companies
