Your profile

  • (Preferred) Master’s degree in business informatics, information technology, business administration
  • 5+ years of professional working experience with global tools / Data lake with large number of interfaces
  • 2+ years of professional working experience in Procurement in a central function
  • 2+ years of experience with SAP FI and MM table structures and their application in the SAP
  • Very good understanding of procurement process
  • Experience in project management and leading mixed functional and technical teams
  • Experience in processing (large) amounts of data (Big Data) as well as in data governance and quality
  • Experience with Data analytics and Databases and Coding of SQL queries and Stored Procedures
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g. Qlik, Tableau) and UX design
  • Strong analytical skills with problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to drive results
  • Understand data structures, data modeling and software architecture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized, ability to work independent and within a team to achieve given objectives
  • Experience working in virtual and distributed teams
  • English, ideally German. International working experience preferred
  • 10 – 20% business travel (international & domestic)

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct Workshops with business to gather functional reporting requirements and align data quality and integrity standards across Siemens Energy
  • Closely collaborate with business users and IT to translate data requirements and business questions into clearly defined technical requirements
  • Design, support, development and implementation of end-to-end data pipelines for reporting
  • Visualizing and presenting business critical KPIs in chosen (dashboard) tool reflecting the business requirements for the individual user stories.
  • Ensure completeness and correctness of monthly data provisioning
  • Monitoring daily processing, monthly closing procedure, ensuring timely delivery of reports
