A Snapshot of Your Day

The technical user engagement professional works within the Technical User Support department. This department ensures efficient & effective use of IT services and creates consistent end user communication to help Siemens Energy continuously improve its productivity in daily business, resulting in overall end user satisfaction and productivity improvements.

Based on the Value Center Infrastructure Governance, the technical user engagement professional is responsible to support local/ country infrastructure topics and support global infrastructure rollouts. In this role you are part of a global, international team of professionals while acting as “face of IT” to the user on every organizational level.


How You’ll Make an Impact

The technical user engagement professional / team lead covers a wide range of responsibilities where the focus for this position is:

  • Coordinating the team activities of the technical user support colleagues located in Romania
  • In alignment with the global IT Value Center Infrastructure department, the technical user engagement professional is supporting local infrastructure topics and projects/ rollout support and coordination across the EU / DE regions

Other activities together with the colleagues in the team include:

  • End-user focused workplace IT Management; including IT Housekeeping & Asset Management, e.g. Laptops, Voice/ Telephony, Mobile, Printing
  • Focused on activities to ensure consistent and excellent user experience
  • Provide user training/ master classes in local language of IT tools and applications based on input from the service owner
  • Supporting the user with ordering MMSA services including advising on what needs to be ordered
  • Major Incident / Complaint Management/ Escalation Support
  • Cooperation with SCM and execution of procurement/ leasing of devices of workplace IT related devices
  • Supports software licenses purchase and usage
  • Maintains key-user/ IT ambassador communities
  • Supports in translating centrally provided user material
  • Responsible for end user communication


What You Bring 

  Languagues: Romanian and English proficiency level, German is nice to have

  Customer focus with excellent communication skills

  Pro-active team player, thinking across and outside boxes

  Relevant experience in previous roles
