A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Enterprise Architect DATA FIN HR you will consult SE business and IT in the area of enterprise integration and data architecture, design and visualize the interplay between business processes, application architecture, data architecture and technology architecture. You will define and maintain the Siemens Energy architectural models for the company wide applications in the Finance and HR area.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Support the definition and development of the Siemens Energy data strategy and architecture (e. g. common Siemens Energy information model, data catalogue, data storage/distribution/ provision concept)
  • Drive the Siemens Energy vision of a data and API driven company
  • Work closely with data experts on corporate and divisional level from all company areas
  • Evaluate alternative architectural approaches on application, data and technology levels and prepare decision documents
  • Research and evaluate new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs
  • Analyze and evaluate architectural trends and developments based on IT Strategy and changes in the IT market
  • Support solution architecture implementation
  • Commit to End2End business processes in all business capabilities
  • Drive alignment with key stakeholders on application and data integration topics
  • Working with different geographies across different time zones to execute responsibilities

What You Bring   

  • 3 years of experience in similar role.
  • Strong and proven experience in business processes, IT strategy and roadmaps, enterprise architecture.
  • Expert level expertise and technical know-how for data architecture, data quality, data storage concepts, data security, data governance and data democracy approaches.
  • Expert level expertise for several leading IT standards in area of application and data integration (Snaplogic, Alteryx, Mendix, Snowflake, etc.) as well as in the area of Finance and HR (e.g. SAP).
  • Deep understanding of API driven architectures and related technologies.
  • Excellent skills in defining and communicating strategy, vision and guidance.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details in business language and relate technical concepts to a business impact.
  • Dedicated team player with the ability to work and navigate in a dynamic and international, cross-cultural environment with many interfaces and a strong ability to drive change management.
  • You are proactive and self-determined, you take responsibility for your work and are target driven, you are able to think outside-of-the-box and you are willing to go the “extra-mile”.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
