A Snapshot of Your Day

The Project Management Support Specialist will provide support to GIS projects as part of the execution team. The successful candidate will work closely with PM, finance and procurement teams to ensure projects are executed in accordance with the business strategy.

 How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Efficiently manages multiple duties within project portfolio to support project management.
  • Identify, analyze and mitigate risks for project logistics solutions
  • Ensure documentation standards are maintained on all project deliverables.
  • Duties include but not limited to managing document control for projects, updating project schedule, creating PORs, and supporting business area needs.
  • Participate and support in weekly meetings with management to provide project updates.
  • Work daily with local and global project teams.
  • Travel may be required up to 15%.

 

What You Bring 

  • 5+ years experience in document control/project supper/logistics.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
  • Knowledge and experience with production and engineering drawings and transmittals.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in process improvement, quality management and global teams is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of GIS, BoP, & switchgear products is preferred
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfer
