A Snapshot of Your Day

As a project manager in Electrification, automation and digitalisation, you will be coordinating the execution of projects in the off/onshore, marine and fiber world. A great opportunity to get exposed to small and large projects across the country, working directly with customers and being part of the energy transition by supporting our customers in their journey.

How You’ll Make an Impact

·       Following the Project Excellence directives for managing projects to ensure adherence to time, design and budget

·       Evaluating and dispositioning project risks to minimize exposure to Siemens Energy

·       Serving as the primary interface with external customers and internal stakeholders to build a coherent and cross divisional and transatlantic team environment

·       Interfacing with the Districts for successful field implementation

·       Interfacing with our SE international manufacturing network to ensure timely deliveries from the network

·       Analyze workflows within and across LGN SU OM to determine ways to improve operational excellence

·       Collect data from the order managers and business partners for analysis to uncover areas for improvements and innovation

·       Develop, review, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet stringent business targets

·       Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and/or operations

·       Liaise with our Service partners, order managers, buyers, planners, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery of spare parts and repairs

·       Liaise with LGN SU OM service partners to initiate and drive improvement projects

·       Interact with other functional departments including but not limited Manufacturing as needed to get materials/processes/documentation required for ensuring end customer satisfaction

·       Track weekly / monthly / quarterly sales forecasts to ensure financial targets are met

What You Bring 

·       M&U projects typically contain appreciable and complex design engineering content; the candidate shall have significant overall understanding of design, installation and operational complexities of steam turbines, generators, gas turbines and their auxiliary systems.

·       The candidate must be able to gain unescorted access to nuclear power plants.

·       Excellent/strong skills in: networking and collaboration, organizational, customer focus, strong communication skills, Customer First attitude, negotiation skills with focus on “Win – Win”, Strategic view and solid experiences in the service arena

·       Background in order management, supply chain, material logistics, change management and engineering.

·       German Language is a plus

·       Many nuclear and some fossil M&U project experience (PM@Siemens Level B).  Preferred candidates will have demonstrated capabilities in managing large, complex projects

·       Education: A BS technical degree or higher is required.

·       The candidate must have or obtain after hiring a PM@Siemens, PMP or IPMA Certification.  This requirement will transition to IPMA Certification by 2026.  The candidate will be expected to complete the IPMA Certification by the due date

·       In-depth knowledge of the SU product portfolio, Order Management and Project management knowledge,

·       Strategic view and solid experiences in the service arena
