Project Coordinator

A Snapshot of Your Day

Conducts technical and/or administrative, mainly pre-defined Project activities for Siemens Subsea operations and delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Processes incoming orders in accordance with our Quality Procedures
  • Ensure POs are in line with job estimates; confirmed work scopes and acknowledged with relevant terms and conditions and within a defined time frame.
  • SAP generation of sales order and accurate collation of costs to allow invoice
  • Creates new materials within SAP ensuring accordance with HMRC Export control coding system
  • Collating information from Bill Of Material issued by Engineering to upload within SAP
  • Running of MRP report to convert planned orders to production Orders
  • Ensuring accuracy of production orders before they are passed over to production 
  • Purchase of products and services for sale to our customers
  • Contact Suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems
  • Coordinate with finance all orders to be invoiced for end of month and ensure production have capacity to build and complete for a specific target date
  • Coordinate with production the status of inspection or repair work for Deepsea Power & Light Products to ensure client is kept up to date
  • Generating delivery paperwork from SAP and export paperwork in accordance with customs regulations
  • Book shipping couriers for relevant orders
  • Ensure products go out on time to customers
  • Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files reports and price lists
  • Request creation of new vendor within Siemens Pega tool
  • Coordinate with Stores for notification of incoming/outgoing goods
  • Raise consumable Purchase orders for the workshop on an ad-hoc basis 
  • Carry out yearly testing with the SAP team and issue specific areas to the relevant departments
  • Performs order management for assigned customers, manages and files clients' information
  • Supports customer remotely and provides 1st level user support in case of arising issues.
  • Drives complex issues and questions to respectively qualified Engineers.
  • Participates in investigating and resolving commercial and/or technical problems.
