This 12-month industry placement within the High Performance team based in Manchester (UK) where you will focus on the development and delivery of a global robust, transparent, scalable and digitized Competence Management framework for Project Entity.  Providing our organization with an overview of the skills we need, what we already have and critically those skills required for our successful future operation. Stakeholder management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and an eye for detail are all essential prerequisites.

We will provide you with opportunities to gain first-hand experience of what it is like to work in dynamic organisation. The role will also allow you to engage in strategic and tactical problems shaping the future.

Your Profile

You do not have to have experience of Competency Management, we have a dedicated team to support your development and learning in this area. Studying a Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or Sustainability related topic should provide the basic foundation required.  We will provide the environment to encourage innovation and a thriving culture.

  • Able to motivate and support others.

Your Responsibilities

As a Competence Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to support our organisation across a variety of projects within a global team. During this time, you will:

  • Support the set up and delivery of a global Competence Management framework
  • Investigate tools to support the framework, ensuring it is fit for purpose, scalable, robust & secure
  • Provide guidance & support to business leaders, function owners and employees on this topi
