How You’ll Make an Impact
You are a procurement controlling professional with experience in procurement data management and a project leading coordinator to implement and strengthen the digitalization initiatives in Procurement China Hub (incl. Hongkong and Taiwan). You will be responsible for execution of Procurement reporting/ controlling function to provide a regular management information system Optimization of controlling processes, incl. functional lead of controllers in the assigned area of responsibilities (e.g., business area/execution unit, regions, factories), comprising Purchase Volume (PVO), creating basis for target- and result-oriented controlling. Details include but not limited to:

Self-dependent and reliable execution of the reporting/controlling function to provide a regular (management) information system and to establish data transparency within defined area of responsibility.
Adherence to and deployment of superordinate requirements (guidelines, KPIs) and controlling tools to secure a consequent process compliance.
Development of complex and comprehensive (ad-hoc) analyses, concepts, presentations and other support to lay an objective and reliable foundation for management decisions.
Increase of transparency about Procurement activities and occurrences within assigned area of responsibility to assist and support business challenges and processes on functional level.
Optimization and efficiency enhancement of the controlling process under selection, development and implementation of appropriate controlling tools (following superordinated requirements) for the assigned area of responsibility. Leading/participating in workshops and projects to collect information and to further develop the controlling function.
Ensure knowledge transfer (guidelines, tools, etc.) to the assigned unit(s) and interface partners through proactive communication and lead of / participation in workshops.

As a digital project lead, you will be responsible for creating and implement a country digitalization procurement roadmap, drive / orchestrate local digital activities within procurement and implement measures. You have a comprehensive overview of relevant global and local initiatives and act as a first line contact partner for local procurement digital topics. You are the interface to the global Procurement Digi Community and local procurement Digital Specialist to initiate or support local communication activities and trainings through build a network of regional “Procurement Digi ambassadors”. Details include:

Generate the transparency for the Digi Tool/Platform in China Hub
Draft, implement and roll out Procurement Digitalization Roadmap for China Hub
Document and promote value contribution of Digitalization for Business Area/Execution Unit and AC/JV
Act as main contact partner from Procurement China Hub for Digitalization
Share the best practice of Procurement Digitalization from HQ and other region with local colleagues
Support to shape the culture of Digitalization
Support to bridge the network regarding Procurement Digi between HQ and local colleagues

What You Bring
Academic degree in economic sciences is preferred
8+ years in procurement team with data analysis responsibility. Preferably 5+ years experience in a Supply Chain Management environment.
Oversea working Experience is preferred
Fluent English and Chinese communication
Strong initiative (self– starter), self-motivated and a quick learner
Ownership and results oriented
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Strong analytical background
