- Our manufacturing facility provides power generation equipment for our customers around the world. We in Data Management strive to provide our internal customers with the support by helping perform make/buy decisions on materials and controlling the needed data in SAP. It’s our daily mission to help insure our Inventory is on point to support our many Teams. It’s a very challenging environment with the current supply chain situation and our small but close knit group works hard and at the same time we enjoy our comradery as we support each other.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Data Management is well centered to give employees exposure to many aspects of Material Requirements Planning through interactions with multiple departments.
- Employees develop skills to combine material lead-times with manufacturing durations to develop engineering requirements
- They will also be exposed to material procurement and ways of optimizing the ways those materials are procured such as in lots or individual pieces to manage risks and optimize per unit cost.
- Employees work with Order Management to plan ahead and place demands early for long lead materials.
- Data Management works with several departments with the goal to drive materials into the factory to support production and at the same time minimize costs.

- Ultimately the employee develops a good understanding of how to plan and schedule materials to support manufacturing and through that grow their knowledge and their networking skills.
