Your profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of industrial-mechanical experience.
  • Ability to obtain fork truck and crane license. Prefer to have previous experience.
  • Prior experience with winding of generator apparatus and resins a plus.
  • Ability to use basic shop math, precision measuring equipment.
  • This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious accommodation.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Your responsibilities

  • Wind, block, and wedge generator exciter apparatus including permanent magnet generator rotor/stator and AC stators.
  • Refurbish excitation diode wheel components and modules.
  • Minor assembly of excitation equipment.
  • Precision measurement of exciter apparatus.
  • Work in other areas of the campus on other products as needed.
