A Snapshot of Your Day

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for direct and indirect sales, lead-generation and application of reciprocating engine energy solutions in the United States and Canada in the reciprocating engine industry.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Generate leads and qualified opportunities for our sales team and sales channel.
  • Call on and market our energy products to developers, EPC’s and end-users in higher-education, healthcare, utility, C&I and other related target industries.
  • Provide feedback to management and R&D regarding market needs as related to product development.
  • Aid in a critical time in the business as it transitions to a nimbler and more entrepreneurial model.

What You Bring

  • 4-year degree level education in Business or relevant experience in Industrial B2B sales. Experience in Power or Thermal Generation a plus.
  • At least 8+ years of experience required. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level (level 05B S40).
  • Ability to drive leads, build brand awareness and generate qualified opportunities.
  • A passion for success through marketing and sales.
  • Team player, self-starter, humbly confident, willing to learn, resilient and passionate about our industry.
  • Ability to learn about, promote and position reciprocating gas engines as a key component in the distributed generation & microgrid markets in the United States and Canada.
  • Experience working with CRM technologies and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel (50%)

  • As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.   Siemens Energy is pausing its mandatory vaccine policy while the issue is addressed by the courts. About the Team

Through our Generation division, we enhance and innovate conventional and renewable power supply. Currently, we're reducing carbon emissions of existing assets and developing technologies that transform power generation applications.
