A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy is moving forward it’s strategy for global alignment and coordination of ITSM Operations.  The Operations Manager will support the ITSM / ITIL process for Siemens Energy IT organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Work with ServiceNow portal for key ITSM process management.
  • Work with all stakeholders on coordination of requests, meetings, and events across IT
  • Reporting and Trending on transition issues and opportunities.
  • Regular alignment with Global Service Owners on IT Process adherence and improvement
  • Ensure all Change Requests, Service Onboardings, etc. adhere to company policy
  • Communications and Service Adoption Success

What You Bring

  • ITIL experience and certification preferred
  • ITSM / SIAM experience and certification a plus
  • Strong ability to plan and moderate large (online) meetings
  • Customer (as in business, sites, locations) Management skills
  • Escalation and de-escalation Management skills
  • ServiceNow ITSM and ITBM experience
  • Familiarity with ITSM Service Onboarding processes
  • Familiarity with ITSM Change Management processes
  • Familiarity with ITSM Demand Management processes
  • Ability to organize and coordinate Change/Demand Meetings
  • Ability to document and communicate Changes / Demands to IT Services

Formal Education & Certification

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or five years equivalent work experience.
  • Certification in ITIL, Foundation, preferred, “Operational Support and Analysis”.

Work Conditions

  • 40-hour on-site work week with on-call availability, when needed.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
