A Snapshot of Your Day
As the People and Culture Specialist for the CD Operations Team, you will drive the end-to-end communication and be responsible for the community management for a global team of over 500 employees.
On a typical day, you utilize your creativity to develop an engaging internal communication strategy to keep your colleagues well-informed and to strengthen the bond within the team. You develop content that can be shared in an upcoming newsletter or a virtual townhall, which you host and moderate in a close collaboration with the leadership team. You have multiple interactions to provide expert guidance to different team leaders on communication and cultural transformation activities and participate in organizing and executing collaboration workshops for the global leadership team.
You also work in close collaboration with other communication experts from various divisions to ensure an aligned strategic approach.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Create and execute a comprehensive internal communication strategy in collaboration with the Operations Team leadership and the Community Manager for the Controls & Digitalization organization.
- Support leadership and affiliated internal partners in developing and executing a communication strategy.
- Write, edit, and design compelling content for newsletters, ensuring alignment with the team’s objectives and culture.
- Organize, set up, and moderate virtual townhalls, collaborating closely with leadership to ensure effective communication.
- Actively manage and engage with internal social media channels, including ghost-writing posts for senior leaders to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Maintain and update the team’s internal presence on SharePoint, ensuring information is current and accessible.
- Regularly analyze communication channel metrics to assess effectiveness and adapt strategies based on user feedback and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering tailored communications and support to meet their needs.
- Work closely with internal Communications, HR Change Management teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to communication and engagement.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communication, Human Resources or other relevant field.
- 3+ years of direct experience in communication operations, preferably also experience with change management activities.
- Strong, well-developed communication skills and persuasiveness, coupled with a confident demeanor and sharp business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to be curious, agile, and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in O365 and familiar with digital communication tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to analyze data to inform and improve communication strategies.
- Proven ability to identify and communicate process improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), moderation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
