The role of Treasury has become increasingly demanding over recent years, with the need to performs diverse cross-functional tasks, Treasury contribute to financial risk mitigation strategies, the onslaught of new treasury technologies, the pressures of regulations and compliance, and the more strategic role it is now playing in the organisations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Critical thinking: Act as the main CFO’s point of contact for Trade Finance and Treasury related topics.
• Relationship building: Manage bank relations, including negotiation of contracts and their terms & conditions.
• Technical expertise: Manage in-house bank activities, including company funding, payment factory support, bank accounts, central bank reporting, FX risk management, electronic banking solutions, management of authorized signatures, M&A/divestment projects, and user management for Treasury IT tools.
• Propensity to learn: Being able to contribute to different areas such as cash Management, FX Risk and Trade finance (bank guarantee management)
• Project management: Contribute with new systems implementation, merge & acquisitions and development of new financial models.

What You Bring

• You have completed academic studies in business administration or completed a commercial apprenticeship in banking or similar.
• Diverse experience: You have a minimum of three years of working experience in the finance business of a bank or (multinational) corporate Treasury with focus preferable on these 2 areas: FX Management or Cash Management.
• You are proficient in English; business proficient knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
• Communication: Being able to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with relevant collaborators among bank partners, CFOs, Accounting, Legal, Taxes among others.
• Change resilience: Knowledge of country/regional European markets, regulatory framework and other financial institutions are preferable.
• Project management driven: You are highly customer-focused, and team-oriented and have a generally good knowledge of Excel, commonly used IT software, any TMS and market treasury tools.

In this role, you would join a dynamic multicultural European team that support the treasury function for our legal entities in Europe. This is a solid team of Treasury experts that continues to evolve and grow by embracing new challenges, sharing knowledge, feeling entrusted and encouraged to make a positive impact on Siemens Energy and our society.
