Supervise overhauls, inspect units, fix systems, and check fire/gas monitoring systems for quality. Lead onsite teams, connect with customers, train team members, and improve project performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Overhaul and conduct all types of mechanical inspections related to units, including setting up STARMS, fixing systems, and performing checks on fire and gas monitoring systems.
• Complete starting and running checks, perform root cause analysis of start failures, set up DLE mapping, and conduct trim balancing to ensure efficient performance.
• Understand packager requirements and quality systems, applying this knowledge to improve the methods of performing activities.
• Proactively drive team performance on-site, addressing areas for improvement to maintain team morale and uphold the Siemens Energy brand.
• Train and mentor team members while effectively transferring knowledge to customer operating teams to enhance their capabilities.
• Lead and coordinate onsite teams, supply to project planning with collaborators, and complete necessary site visit documentation while upholding high-quality Field Service standards

What You Bring

• Proven engineer with a degree or equivalent qualification, experienced in rotating equipment and knowledgeable about gas turbine operations.
• Previous experience in commissioning and fixing gas turbines or similar capital equipment.
• Excellent customer focus and strong communication skills, capable of effectively motivating clients and collaborators.
• Ability to lead and influence teams across different countries, demonstrating strong leadership and social skills.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice as required for project mobilization and support.
• Proactive approach to self-management, ensuring alignment with key targets and goals.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
