Commercial Project Manager is a role that covers both the Sales and Execution areas of multi-million euro international projects that keep us on track towards achieving our mission. You would be the project entrepreneur responsible for commercial aspects and project financials (controlling & reporting).

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Entrepreneurship: Co-lead projects with the Project Manager to optimise financial results, including variation order management, project gross profit improvement, cash management, asset position, and financing instruments.
• Customer Focus: Actively manage customer expectations and communicate with their commercial representatives to resolve financial issues and manage procedures related to approvals, invoicing, payments, and customs clearance.
• Commercial Partner: Educate project team members on project financials, ensuring holistic thinking and acting in Siemens Energy's interest, including compliance topics.
• Project Acquisition & Award: Build relationships with customer procurement/contracts departments and support sales teams on commercial and financial topics throughout the sales/bid process, ensuring compliance with Limits of Authority (LoA).

• Ensure accurate cost and pricing calculations, lead cost review sessions, prepare commercial documentation, and manage commercial risks, contracts, and claims (including insurance claims), ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and promoting a 'safety first' approach. If applicable, assume the roles, responsibilities, and prerogatives of World Project Controller (WPC), including control, management, and coordination of financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring the consolidated profit of the project, and supervising local CPMs.
• Create and update economic forecasts and ensure compliance with objectives and forecasts in terms of revenue, gross margin, cash flow, as well as the legal and fiscal environment of the portfolio projects.
• Carry out the procedures for opening and closing the branch/permanent establishment.

What You Bring

• Educational Background: Possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a relevant accounting qualification.
• Language Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent French & English skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint), SAP, and other relevant IT tools.
• Project Management Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience in commercially managing complex external customer projects.
• International Exposure: Experience working with international projects and in a multicultural environment, with direct interfacing with external stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, or partners.
• Availability to Travel: In this position you might be required to travel regularly (once per month) to countries in Northern Africa to facilitate the closing of legacy projects in collaboration with the regional entities.
