A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as you embark on an exciting journey working on-site at our customers’ power plants around the globe! Imagine each day presenting new opportunities and challenges. One day, you might perform inspections on critical turbine parts according to internal procedures and ISO standards, while the next day, you could be coordinating a team of NDT inspectors. You will prepare essential documentation on-site, discuss test results with the Engineering and Project Teams at Siemens Energy, and clearly explain your findings to the customer. Your role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will lead and coordinate all NDT activities at the site, ensuring compliance with ISO 9712 and internal standards.
  • Execute non-destructive tests and document results according to international project standards.
  • Apply manual testing methods and advanced automated testing technologies, leveraging your field experience to drive further developments and secure technological advantages.
  • Collaborate with a team of internal and external qualified NDT technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

What You Bring

  • A technical background with several years of experience in NDT methods such as PT, MT, and UT Level 2, ideally certified according to ISO 9712.
  • High flexibility to adapt to short-term planning changes and a willingness to travel worldwide for over 70% of your work time.
  • A communicative and confident demeanor, combined with a structured and results-oriented working style.
  • A collaborative spirit, ready to take responsibility in projects and work effectively within a team.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, along with the ability to adapt to diverse cultures.

We are an accredited laboratory for non-destructive testing according to DIN EN ISO 17025, with locations in Muelheim an der Ruhr, Berlin, Madrid, and Lisbon. Our team of highly qualified specialists is an integral part of Siemens Energy Service for power plant turbo sets. We seamlessly combine on-site testing at our customers’ locations with laboratory work, ensuring the highest quality and reliability in our services.
