A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Generator Field Assembly Specialist, you’ll engage in hands-on technical work, focusing on dismantling, cleaning, and handling generator components during field assembly operations. In this role you will get the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that ensure the successful completion of turbine projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Foster a culture of zero harm by adhering to safety guidelines and participating in safety briefings.
  • Dismantle and handle generator components with care, following established procedures to prevent damage.
  • Operate lifting equipment and tools safely, ensuring the correct positioning of components and spare parts.
  • Clean components and spare parts meticulously to remove contaminants, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee subcontractors and manage spare parts, optimizing the use of consumables and ensuring proper packing.
  • Assist in recommissioning activities and ensure compliance with company training, security, and safety protocols.

What You Bring

  • A technical high school or institute graduate with a focus on industrial mechanics or mechatronics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical erection and maintenance, preferably in power generation utilities or projects.
  • Extensive experience in testing and measurement, with proficiency in using mechanical measurement devices and converting units.
  • Exceptional manual skills, including chiseling, sawing, filing, rubbing, mortising, grinding, and blading.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication, essential for maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to maintain a healthy work-life balance by effectively communicating leave requests.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
