The Field Service Engineer reports directly to the Head of the Operation Department working closely with both the Local, Regional & HQ teams.

Your profile

·    Degree/Adv Diploma or equivalent working experience (Electrical/Engineering) – working experience >4 years

  • Hands-on experience & knowledge on Electrical/Transmission Products and Services (switching & non-switching)
  • Have relevant technical / site experience on High Voltage Switchgears
  • Must be comfortable handling different technical and non-technical presentations
  • Able to communicate well within various levels of the organization, both internal and external
  • Understands that there are cultural differences and copes with them effectively
  • Ability to improvise and willingness to experience unpredictable situations
  • Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing high performance culture
  • Professional English required, where additional Asian languages will be a benefit.
  • Must be mobile both locally and regionally.


Your responsibilities

  • Within in the context of Switching & Non-switching equipment, you will be tasked to coordinate, supervise, advise on service tasks such as installation, commissioning, upgrades, and routine maintenance independently and being able to identify & resolve technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity.
  • Comfortable with digital/tech tools such as remote gear & usage of various different software  
  • Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.
  • Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations.
  • Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation
  • Maintains a good relationship with both internal & external customers
  • Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative
  • Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations
  • Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities
  • Reports unsafe practices and incidents
