A Snapshot of Your Day
The Generator supervisor performs mechanical maintenance activities and projects. Skilled in the fabrication, installation, inspection, testing, adjustment and repair of electro-mechanical, and generator component.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Install, maintain, and repair generator/turbine parts.
• Lead electricians to install new equipment including conduit and wiring.
• work as TFA for mechanical installation.
• Maintain accurate equipment files such as maintenance and inventory logs, manuals.
• Be responsible for clean-up of shop and work sites.
• Working knowledge of 5000F/2000E turbines.
• Working knowledge of generato/turbines.
• Understand local, and national electrical codes
• Proficient in all Microsoft products
• Operate and perform maintenance of hand tools, light, and heavy equipment
• Read and understand manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Make simple mathematical calculations rapidly and accurately
• Understand and follow both written and oral instructions
• work as TFA for mechanical installation.
• FOLLOW ALL QUALITY AND SAFETY STANDARDS
• Willing to travel and work on site 80% over of the year
What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED,
• 5 years Experience in Siemens Turbines or similar OEM.
